Hello, I've been lurking on here for a while and finally decided to post xD.
Anyway, I generally play friendly games versus Skaven, WoC, HE and Bretts.

Here is the list I'm considering:

    Lords: 460
Slann, BSB w/ Std of Discipline, Wandering Deliberatiions, Reservoir of Eldritch Energy and Book of Ashur.

    Heroes: 466
    Skink Priest, Dispel Scroll. Beasts

Skink Priest, Cube of Darkness. Heavens

Scar-Vet Cowboy, Cold one, GW, Armour of Destiny.

Skink Chief, Terradon, LA, Enchanted Shield, Sword of Striking, Egg of Quango.

    Core: 581

    11x Skirmishers w/ javs + s
    11x Skirmishers w/ javs + s
    11x Skirmishers w/ javs + s
30x Saurus w/ spears, standard and musician.

    Special: 409

26x Temple Guard w/ FC and Banner of Eternal Flame.

    Rare: 84

    1x Salamander w/ extra handler.

Just a draft so far, still need to buy my Slann and TG, hoping to acquire a Steg kit too.
    Any suggestions welcome.

looks pretty good mate have you given the harmonic convergence + channeling staff combo a try yet its a riot when you get 3 dice channeling with 1 wizard personally i usually give skinks a miss but that is due to personal prefference as i usually prefer one huge block of saurus (the look on a players face when you have a block of 60 with spears and horde 50 atks + pf) lol its funny id definatly say get a steg in there if you can get the kit in there and fit it in and give it sharpened horns and you have a killing machine i like the double dispell scroll thing but i usually just give my slann becalming cogitation at higher points but again thats prefernce looks like a pretty solid list though!

I like the list, but as the guy who wrote the Ashur Slann article you might want to consider swapping the cube of darkness for forbidden rod.

You roll a 2&1. Pocket your Eldritch and maybe get a channel, you then use the rod and roll a 4. 9 dice against 2, and with Ashur you get 5 spells off.

Edit: Other C&C. That skink chief on a terradon is roughly 120 right? You could get two units of 6 Chameleons who could threaten warmachines and also chaff better. Just a thought - if the terradon works for you, great! I just don't like paying that much for one hit wonders.

The one guy I face who is currently using warmachines is the Skaven player. He has so many troops that chameleons would struggle to get to his cannons. The Terrachief can fly over these troops, drop his rock, then proceed to kill warmachines. He has the Egg so that he can potentially bust up some infantry against my no-warmachine opponents, or after the warmachines have been dealt with.

I think I will try out the Forbidden Rod on a priest though, sounds like it will help out a lot.

    Thanks for the comments
