    So, Here is the army list ive come up with This is my first post on these boards feedback is appreciated.

    Slann Mage Priest

    BSB/ 4th Gen / Plaque Tepok / Diadem of power / Plaque Protection 490points

    Skink Priest x2
    Level 2 Scroll x 1 125 points each

    Saurus (JSOD)
    Tepok / La / E. Shield / Jaguar warrior / Venom of frog 152 Points

    Let me start off by saying im not sure how i feel about the plaque of protection im worried about him getting shot down if i dont ahve it but at the same time it also feels like a waste, im also not sure if skinks being level 2 are worth it or not what is your guys opinions here? and lastly 3 vs 4 krox im pretty fond of four at the momment but if I dropped all the things im not 100% sure on loving thats 179 points to play with and i could squeeze a few more out im considering dropping the scouting on the third skink unit for example) so 190points thats alot of different possibilities... an escort for my slann a hard unit of sauruses ... tons o skink fun..... a third sally.... Anyways many possibilities so id like your guys opinions on those things im not to sure of especially..

    The general idea here .... Sallies go in the middle with the slann right behind it lobbing spells Skink priests go 1 in both of the non scouting units and cast forked lightning ... leaving the unit when combat is about to start of course... Krox follow of course for the screen and cold ones hit exposed flanks that the skinks will redirect to em....

    forgot to mention there is a brave in the scouting unit

    Ok, i have a couple of suggestions.

    First, you cannot give your JSOD two enchanted items. Drop the venom and give him a great weapon. That will give you a great chariot buster (among other uses). Also, Tepok might be overkill. You already are throw out 8 dispel dice if needed, and have 2 scrolls. Those points would be better spent on more skinks or another salamander.

    Secondly, dont worry about the slann so much as to take the plaque of protection. Because of telepathy, you can simply place him behind (or in) a convenient terrain piece and use the skink priest's LOS. A plaque of dominion could help you overwhelm a magic face, or you could use the points for a powerstone (for that game-changing spell) and more troops.

    Thirdly, level 2 is not a waste on your skinks. As your slann is not second generation, you need the skink priests to be able to throw around spells to draw out dispel dice. Dont forget that many armies do not have the luxury of a slann, and a skink priest is just as good as any other races lvl 2 (except for a couple race bonuses). Portent of far will be exceedingly useful as your list relies on winning in the first round of combat, and all of your combat units dish out a high amount of attacks. Choose easier spells from heavens so that you can be sure that your skinks can get off atleast one spell without using your default power dice.

    Maybe im worried for no reason and my magic will be enough but im afraid of Incorporeal units...


    This is an all comers list so uh will it be ok vs most or have any glaring weaknesses

    The reason i had so many dice was for vampires im afraid of letting them have free reign of the magic phases

    well if you main concern is vamps, and you expect them to be your regular opponent, then you should probably keep the tepok. However, I would definately suggest taking the plaque of dominion instead as you are not going to be seeing many artillery units, and as you pointed out more dispel dice are better
