The skinks obviously losen up enemy blocks along with the salamanders / take out big unarmored things I figure the Steggadon is kinda like a secondary hammer/anvil unit working in junction with the kroxigors, Kroxigors or steg charge impact hits blah should be rather nasty... Terradons war machine / lone char hunt As does the JSOD, JSOD will probably hide in the unit of Saurus until the time is right to pop out and rawr! Slann Dumps his magic into whatever will be the most usefull target. And lastly This list is intended to be an all around all comers list with beating no specific armies in mind but hopefully not getting ran over by anyone ~+++++++++++++++++++ Some things ive been considering, Dropping the terradon and champ to go back up to having 16saurus or the third skink unit. Or Dropping champ+extra saurus for a second dispell scroll (leaning towards doing this) Why is there a champ and an extra in there? just because i had 28points and wasnt sure what to do with them Id especially like your guys opinions on these few options here under the ++++
you have enough magic to deal with ethereal creatures....so dont worry about that. I would strongly suggest that you take a gw on your JSOD. When you think about it, there is really no reason to not take one. Your scar vet. has failed anyway if he has to worry about being killed after a charge. This will allow you to take out chariots, whose high movement value and general ease in being a sacrificial unit could otherwise put a dent in your plans. Kroxigors are too much of an investment to send after single chariots anyhow.
For 2000 points, you're missing a needed core slot. You're only showing two, and you need three. Also, your saurus unit is oddly sized. You need unit strength 5 in the front rank to get rank bonus, so either give them three for 15 guys, drop two for 10 guys or just know you'll have an extra two in the back. I'd reconsider on the saurus champion at this level. With Herohammer being the norm right now, a challenge from most heroes or lords will tear him apart and lose you some needed combat res. As far as fixing the points (and I know I'll get some dissent for this), I'd drop one of your krox. It'll leave you with three, but give you a lot of points back to continue fiddling with everything else.
