hey guys, so im back after a few weeks of painting and training, i come to everyone with more help. my first list i posted wasnt very good and everyone who gave an opinion helped out. so after much thinking and researching i think i have come up with a great list. once again, i accept all criticism and appreciate any and all help. so without further adieu..

    Lost Host of Tzunki

    Old-Blood Gor-Loq: 145pts
    Light Armor: 10pts
Scimitar of the Lost Suns: 50pts (+2 atks)
    Talisman of Preservation: 45pts ( 4+ ward)
    Carnasaur: 210pts
    Total: 460pts

    Heroes:

    Gequo the Priest: 65pts
    Engine of the Gods: 290pts
Diadem of Power: 25pts ( 2 extra dispel dice)
    Dispel Scroll: 25pts
    Level 2: 35pts
    Total: 440pts

    Core units:

    Saurus Horde: x40
    Full Command
    Total: 480pts

    Skink Skirmishers x10
    Total: 70pts

    Skink Skirmishers: x10
    Total: 70pts

    Skink Skirmishers: x 12
    Javelins/Shield
    Total: 96pts

    Special Units:
    Stegadon: x1
    Total: 235pts

    Rare Units:
    Salamanders: x2
    Total: 150pts.

My plan here is to have my Horde just pushing through everything that it comes into contact with, while the skinks act as a screen and of course they are my firing squad if they get charged. Both stegadons are going to be riding along the side as flank charges. Salamanders are there to widdle down large units. I chose a defensive priest instead of an offensive one because i dont trust magic and if he blows up, see ya later ancient steggie. So i'll have the engine casting spells and of course if the priest can get off a few spells, i dont think it will hurt anyone. And last but not least... My wrecking ball of a Lord is just simply going to be running around taking out monster units. That's my plan, any thoughts?

Oldblood can be streamlined a bit. The Scimitar of the Sun Resplendent can be replaced with the Sword of Strife from the common magic weapons in the main rulebook. It's 10 points less and does the same thing. Talisman of Preservation can then be swapped for the Armor of Destiny in the common magic armours in the main rulebook. 5 points more but it's heavy armor and still gives a 4+ ward. Then you have to drop his Light armor. Still at a 1+, 4++, with +2 attacks and he's a tad cheaper.

On the Skink Priest I believe the Diadem of Power and the Dispel Scroll are both arcane, so you can only have one or the other. The Diadem is probably better in this case since you're Slann-less.

With the savings from your Oldblood and Skink Priest you should grab some extra handlers for the Salamanders and maybe another Saurus or two.

Is this for the tourney still?

Also, you ought to edit the original post and remove the individual point costs of items. Totals are ok.
