Fangs has fallen outta favor in this edition, but I still have a lot of fun with it. This is what I have been using locally and its done well. Mortals are really good still and this list can put out a ton. Similarly, prismatic palisade is really good at defending against mortals since most abilities require los this edition. I think Krox got a big buff this edition because they have a built in all out attack already, and all out defense puts them at a respectable 3+ with 4 wounds. And they are a really good rally target. Similarly, I think terradon riders got better because of redeploy. They are so fast you can get in the backline very easily without teleporting, forcing most armies to commit to them. Then you redeploy them saving them from death, and use their fast speeds to go wherever you want. Super annoying for non-shooting armies. Parting shot and unleash hell in the same list is pretty unfair lol. I will often keep my bastiladon near my skink blob to try and pull this combo off. You still get teleports and summoning. Its easy to forget how powerful that can be after playing thunderlizard. It feels broken lol.
Looks like a good list, kroxies would be a scary transport to the back line, will take some shifting then. could you fit some sallies in this list? Maybe lose the bastiladon and take 2 sallies, bastiladon don’t do much in starborne, only decent with double shot in a TL list. Sallies are great for buffing then teleporting.
You certainly can! If you wanted you could change almost anything into sallies and it would be pretty good. I like Bastiladon for the extra damage to demons and its a monster so you get that sweet extra point on some secondaries.
