I run a Lord Kroak list I've dubbed my "Skink Bomb" list.

First off you don't have a BSB. Lord Kroak can't be your BSB so you'll need to outfit the Scar Vet to be one. Second the Skink Chief can't take the dispel scroll only a wizard can take that.

TBH your list feels like it's "these units are cool so I'm taking them" which results in you spreading your points around to much. I'd either drop the Saurus or the Skrox unit and just buff the other one out. I'd add 1 or 2 groups of Skink Skirmishers or just Skink Cohorts for redirect and ranged support. I'd also drop the Skink Chief and bring a Priest then throw the priest in the Skink unit to channel Kroak through.

I would also either drop the Ancient Stegadon and get more Salamanders or drop the Salamander and use those points elsewhere. Just 1 Salamander isn't going to be very effective.

I agree with all eppe said,

Also if I were to play a Lord Kroak list i would definitely get atleast 1 Skink Priest and get him The cloak of Feathers so that he could fly close to the enemies and make as much use of Lord Kroaks spell as possible early. If you buy him a dispel scroll aswell i would recommend to use it early so that you can use it before the priest dies, but you can always take an extra priest and buy the scroll for him and have him close to your main battleline.

Had a mindblank, I typed chief when I meant priest. I'm wary about giving him cloak of feathers as that will make him go solo and he's a bit squishy to survive a decent time. M6 skrox are far from slow anyway.
I may add a bsb but from my experience it isn't mandatory as my best unit is unbreakable.
I use the salamander in a similar way to skirmishers, one is cheap and annoying (to your opponent) and can harras chaff units.

Maybe a stupid question but can Kroak channel his spell through a priest that are in combat?

You probably know this already but don't go after chaff with the salamander. He's for the big block of infantry! :) Also only one salamander is good enough for getting the job done, but two of these are really scary.

Well... it depends. I personally play that Kroak's spell can't hit anything in CC since it doesn't specifically say it can. Now I would love for it to be changed in a FAQ but I doubt it.

If Kroak is in CC he can channel it through a Priest not in CC, however the Priest can't be in CC.

The problem with 1 Salamander is it's already a huge target, odds are it's going to die before it ever has a chance to do anything. I think a group of salamanders with Tetto'eko for the vanguard movement isgoing to be powerful combo.

Oh okay, yeah hopefully he will be able to hit units in CC, possibly even cast it if he himself is in CC (not channeling through a priest) that would be awesome :)

I'm just happy to see the words "Kroak" and "2000 pts list" in the same line :D

I like the concept too, Scalenex :)
I wouldn't use a salamander to go after chaff, but I will probably still use it to safe-long-charge, annoy my opponent or just redirect. Or should I take a razordon instead?
