    Ok, heres something I have put together using my existing collection. Please comment and advise

    My opponent has armies of both High elves and wood elves, my guess is he'll be using the High variety (otherwise the game will pretty well be a walk-over whatever I bring).

    If he brings HE won't your steggie being eating bolts until it dies halfway across the table?

    Also as elves are so perfectly kebab sized I would have considered more sallies.

    Looks like a pretty solid list. My main concern would be the smallish units of Saurus Warriors. Especially using light, I'd rather have both units at 24.

    I'D DROP THE STEG FOR 2X MORE SALLIES AND BEEF UP THE SAURUS BLOCKS.

    More sallies would be good. Another thing that I would do is make the slann the BSB (points allowing) and give him the standard of discipline for 5 points. Ld 10 slann in TG=never fail ld check.

    ok so i have done what the other guys have said you should do simply because i agree with them the scar-vet is put into tg because the points from champs were needed and if your tg champ dies and you wont have anyone to take challenges with wich means that your entire army will go down one ld (i think as you cannot use generals ld if he has just refused a challenge anyone correct me if i am wrong) and if you dont get lets say speed of light off on the big version but only on one unit you want to use it on the tg and then if scar-vet is with saurus he wont have no gain of the spell... or something

    As predicted, the steg got well and truly bolted to death on T2. I'm considering swapping him for a Kroxigor quartet next game, I'd like to see what their stomp can do.

    I could lose the scar vet for a few more saurus and transfer the BS to the Slann I guess, but I don't have any more salamanders (and can't afford to buy 2 more).

    On an unrelated matter becalming cogitation is ridiculously good, the number of times his Archmage w/book failed to reach his spells casting value because the 6s disappeared was priceless.
