After that everything is there for killing, chameleons are obviously going warmachine hunting and the rippers will go after big targets. I've changed this list so many times and it has included stegs, bastilidons, temple guards and more sallies. I just need others help to make me realise if the troop units are big enough for this size game. Also should I take more sallies, are the units (like rippers) I have now the best choice for their points. I have done loads of researching and changing and this is waht I have come up with I just really would like some other peoples opinions. Thanks a lot, Charlie.
Pretty... Now on to the question at hands. The slann is awesome, love me some etheral slann - consider giving him static combat res through a war banner but solid as stands. Carnosaur looks fine, but do yourself a favor and buy an enchanted shield instead of the shield for a 1+ instead of a 2+ - dawnstone deserves it. Personally i am not a fan of Saurus, but i guess they're a staple choice, moreso since you don't use any TG. Don't really have any comments on your special, looks fine, so does your rare. You're using a lot of pts in core - could probably optimise a bit there, but then again, your list look fine - can't see what i'd remove.
Firstly sorry for having my first post set out poorly (I was in a rush earlier) And secondly thanks for the reply, I think I now might consider removing some of the saurus, maybe just 1 unit of 30? Anyway thanks a lot for the reply, Charlie
I'd combine the 2 small saurus blocks into a hord. It gives you steadfast combat res and 50 attacks if you combine it with spears. All in all a solid center that can dish out a lot of punishment and take a lot of hits. It also lets you consolidate your buffs onto one target rather than having to spread them out amongst many. Downside is that the same is true for ebony hexes but unless you lose ur slann u should be fine.
