8th Ed. 2000pts vs Ogre Kingdom... First time

    Hey fellas.

    I am facing a friend who is playing OK. I am playing lizardmen (duh). Both of our first times WITH THESE ARMIES.

    heres the list:

    Slann - Harmonic Convergence, BSB, Channeling Staff

    Skink Priest - LVL 2, Dispel Scroll
    S. Chieftain - Potion of strength, gambler's armour, add. HW.

    26 Saurus - Spears, FC
    2 x 20 Skink Skrimishers - J and S

    25 Temple Guards - FC
    Champion has Ironcurse Ion
    8 Cold Ones - FC, Spears

    2 Razordon Hunting Pack - Extra Skank


    Need your opinion. Anythign I should remove?

    To be honest, I want to try the cold ones and razordon, i barely see them get played so I wanna be original haha.

    Also, I was thinking of running Lore of Light OR Lore of Fire with my Slann and Skink Priest with Lore of Beast

    dude. ogres. what do they have? almost all of them has more then one wound. piranha blade, carnosaur,ancient steg.
    id go with high loremaster slann, a skarnosaur, and 2 ancient stegs. at least 4x10 skink skirmishers, a block of sauruses as bunker for the slann, and chamos to deal with cannons, OK cannon easier dealth with blowpipes then terradons, a lvl1 scrollbearer with heavens, if possible, the slann with loremaster, extra dices to channel, channeling staff

    Regarding the Ogres Cannons, I have just stopped shoting at them with chameleonts.

    They have to many wounds and 4+ save, my chameleonts have shoot themself tired at them and still maybe only manage to kill 1 in round 5 or 6. So I have started to just dont care about them and my chameleonts are firing at ordinary ogres just to do as much damage as possible.

    I would go with lore of death or high magic against the Ogres.
    Light or Life is okej to.
