drop the dispell scroll, your slann can easilly dispell on his own, especially with your lvl1-2 skink priest.
a 5th generation spawn slann automatically adds 1 to his attempts to cast/dispell, and second generations even add a free D6 when attempting to cast/dispell. and why not mount your slann on the second stegadon? this will give him a nice 2+ armor safe, combined with his ward safe on distance attacks he'd be a nice magical tank with 8 wounds! armor safe 2+ and unit strenght 13!

The newest Lizarmen book does not have rules for the generations of slanns. I would guess that they added Disciplines that took the place of the generations. Also, with the newer book, you cannot take a stegadon as a mount unless it is Mazdamundi. Lastly, 8th edition removed unit strength from warhammer.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Unless you are playing an older version, that is.

I would drop the engine. I haven't personally found it to be as useful as a tooled out scar vet.

I would also think about adding in some more skirmisher units. They are fantastic little re-directors and can do some damage with the blowpipes if people disregard them, or if you drop the saurus units down a few models you can probably squeak in another stegadon.

I also would dump the blood statuette. Maybe put the +1 leadership banner on the slann.

Like Alri says, seems like you are following some old rules.

Good point, you got me thinking about dropping the Engine of god for a baby steg and a ScarVet.
I only have one problem with that, i want a Dispell scroll. Dont know if i had bad luck earlier..but i really wanna proctect myself against the Initiative test spell, and dwellers below type of magic.

The idea about dropping Saurus and squeeze in skinks dosent sound appealing to me.
Need lots of saurus to be stubborn and negate others. Aswell as they are good for their price, opposite to skinks. In my opinion.

Another thing. If you take this +1 leadership banner..then you can still use his General leadership with him?

    Kind Regards

Yes, that question was faq'd back when 8th edition first came out. It makes the TG unit unbreakable for all intents and purposes.

you can fit a lvl 1 skink priest with a scroll for under 100 pts or up the scroll to the cube of darkness for just over 100 points.

The banner works for the slann, leadership 10 with cold blooded and a reroll is like a 99.9% chance of success or something crazy.

I suggest the skink units because even if you add a baby steg you have 7 deployments. Adding in a couple units of skinks and bringing the deployments up to around 10 can make a big difference. Deployment has a big effect on 8th edition warhammer, and being able to delay where you put down your 200+ point units is very helpful. Also skinks are wonderful redirectors and at 70 points you can throw them away to slow something down for a turn without giving up hardly anything as far as victory points are concerned.
