Heya i'm going to battle the forces of chaos this afternoon. Yesterday i made this list to counter my foe, what do you guys reckon? Im going magic heavy despite the huge khorne force he's probably going to borrow from me ( he has a slaanesh/tzeentch forces himself). In the center of his force there will be a Eye of the gods cart (or something like that) and a standard bearer that makes everyone around stubborn. I want to either magic bash that, or even just drive my steg right in there. Slann with lore of death Cup H. of the Old Ones Bane Head (for his general, probably a daemon prince otherwise its going to be a lord on disk - if that's still allowed, certainly a single model) Giving the Slann 4 improves: +1pd rule, ethereal, negate a 6 casts on 24" and know a full lore Also he gets a standard (+1 combat resolution) Defending that dude with a temple guard unit (15) should have 16 but cant get a single model anywhere. With the combat resolution that the slann brings in im hoping to break some units and pursue. So i gave the temple guard the jag standard ( extra d6 to pursue). Then a skink priest on foot with flying cloak and bound spell: uranon's bolt (when he used all dispels on slann i'll pop that somewhere) Also got a skink priest on EOTG. Gave him itzl amulet, which is a free wound and a power stone to wreak some havoc. Then i've got another skink chief (first time using that model) he carries a dagger of sotek and it's poisoned. Also got him an extra handweapon. With him march 20 saurus to shield him and also just to deal a great punch, because he will field a lot of warriors. On the flank three kroxxigor will march, hopefully their psychology will break something and that will make life a lot easier. They tend to too battle long and not too hard. I'll be using them without skinks because of my magic superiority and his lack of missile fire. This time i left salamanders out, they would probably be a good choice, but i thought i would cut too deep in my core, besides I just have one so i can't swap em with kroxx. Please add any comments or tactical help, and i'm sorry i didn't put all the right army book names in.
