I am trying to build a well rounded effective tournament list with this. A list that can handle anything thrown at it. I did have a few concerns as I don't have any dispel scrolls or Cube of darkness. I planned on running Lore of Life. A few of the strategies for the army below 20 saurus are for the watchtower scenario I also am 50/50 on the Skink/Krox. firstly, welcome to the forum, secondly if u wanted a balanced list i think you found it. only a few opinions: 1) Not sure the power stone is needed on the slaan as well as focused rumination, would be better off taking a scroll. 2) I personally really like the skrox unit in general and have had great success with them. Many tend to underestimate its combat potential because they think "its only skinks.....". they are great at outflanking with their speed then supporting a saurus charge by hitting the flank. I was thinking the same thing with the power stone, it just stinks when you roll a 3 for power dice that one turn and dont have much to work with. Thank you for your help, do you think there is anything else that will make this a tougher list?? Also, I wasnt sure to drop the always needing 6's in favor of picking up some other items.
They are referring to "The Becalming Cogitation", one of the Slann Mage-Priest Disciplines it can have.
i suspected as much, becalming takes any 6's rolled AWAY from the casting attempt. And IMO, one of the best slaan options. second only to rumination for me. Yours Aye Mixer
