Hello there. I'm planning on entering a 2200pt tournament and here is what I have atm: Lords: Slann Mage-Priest: BSB, Focus of Mystery, Harmonic Convergence, Soul of Stone, Becalming Cogitation Channeling Staff, Standard of Discipline, Potion of Speed (for those nasty purple suns). Heroes: Skink priest: lvl 1, Lore of Beasts, Dispel Scroll Skink Priest: lvl 1, Lore of Beasts, Cube of Darkness Core: 30x Saurus warriors: Hand weapons and shield, Full Command 3 x 10 Skink Skirmishers (not sure yet about blowpipes or javelins, but same cost) Special: 22x Temple Guard: Full command, Razor Banner, Ironcurse Icon 3x Terradon Riders: Fireleech Bolas 6x Chameleon Skinks 6x Chameleon Skinks Rare: Salamander Hunting Pack: Additional Handler Salamander Hunting Pack: Additional Handler Bastilodon Solar Engine This is exactly 2200 points. I have got two solid combat blocks, backed up by the Bastilodon. Getting a flank charge is going to be tough though as I only have two really combat able blocks. I have plenty of stuff for warmachine hunting (the terradons and chameleons). Same goes for redirecting. The salamanders provide some counter against horde armies (which I'm sure I will be seeing). The bastilodon is there for kicks, I like the model and it can pack a punch if the opponent lets it through. The only problem I'm seeing atm is how to handle MC, perhaps use the Slann to try and take some out with the metal sig spell or something. I can see what armies have entered and it seems that for now that WoC, DE/HE and Skaven seem pretty popular atm. Only one other lizzie player has entered . In any case I would appreciate any comments on this list, considering the list for this tournament will be the guideline for my painting. Thanks in advance!
Ummmm.... you have to nominate the potion at the start of the turn... so unless your opponent is telegraphing his intention...and i mean literally. then I cant see the point.
Hmm perhapsi can drop the potion and the champ in th saurus unit. Add 1 tg leaves me at 2199 poonts. And compositionwise u think its anygood as a tournament list?
you said your worried about MC, and I think with 2 Chameleon squads, Terradons, an Ironcursed TG, and only one monster to protect from cannon fire, it think you have more than enough War machine protection. Personally, I would drop the potion and champion or w/e and switch the Terradons to counts-as Ripperdactyls. you can use the toads as a feint to mess with their plans, or go for the flank charge and only have 3-4 attacks back against your ~18 attacks. if they dont have MC through them against the highest ppm KB vulnerable unit and rack up the points. If you dont care about being friendly and are worried about frenzy, just reform them backwards at the end of their movement, cant charge what you cant see!
