Not the most optimal list...but should be fun killing stuff CHARACTERS Saurus Oldblood (General) - Carnosaur with loping stride - Piranha Blade - Light Armour/Shield - Talisman of Preservation - Potion of Speed = 490pts Scar-Vet (BSB) - Armour of Destiny - Shield = 159pts Scar-Vet - Cold one - Spear/Shield/Light Armour - Dragonbane Gem = 117pts Scar-Vet - Cold one - Spear/Shield/Light Armour = 112pts CORE 24 Saurus - Full Command - Spears = 294pts 24 Saurus - Full Command - Spears = 294pts SPECIAL 23 Temple Guard ***BSB Here*** - Full Command - Standard of Disipline - Champ has Sword of Swift Slaying = 392pts 5 Saurus Cold One Riders = 170pts 5 Saurus Cold One Riders = 170pts TOTAL POINTS = 2198pts I plan on running the Temple guard 6X4 in the center supported on either side by the saurus also in a 6X4 formation. The cold ones/scar vets/carnosaur will operate in a support role on the flanks. Obviously this army needs to be pushed forward towards combat asap. There's a couple of sneaky little tricks in the list. The Temple guard champ has the sword of swift slaying for ASF and the oldblood has a potion of speed/pirahana blade. The old blood with his D3 wounds can easily deal with ogre/troll sized models. Anyone like it? Time of Madness
Are you trying to build exclusively with saurus? if so then you have done it. If not then I might suggest a bastilodon and a troglodon. The basti will give you a spell to throw your power dice at and the trog would love to buff all those PF attacks. Again, if you are building with just saurus, then you did pretty well. If not then think about the monsters.
