It does indeed look like a nice and balanced list. however, i am not a fan of infantry heavy armies. The engine of the gods might help a little against artillery, but i think you will have trouble against shooty and fast armies. The first will have dropped your stegadons and terradons by turn three, leaving you with very limited mobility, and the second might be able to get a flank or rear charge on one of those big infantry blocks if you don't watch out. Ok, this is not so bad for the TG bur your saurus will be annihilated if a unit of knights or two run into them... i am especially thinking about those nasty bretonnian lance formations. on the other hand, almost anything will be dead if they meet two of these lances, but with that saurus unit it will cost you quite a bunch of points.) you might be able to compensate this by choosing the right lores though.
Thanks for the comments. I am hoping between magic, sallies and terries I should be able to deal with artillery and also the Slann should help me be versatile for whatever I face. Brets, Emp, Dwarves - Metal Elves - Fire Demons - Heavens What should I take for magic against the other lists though?
Yeah, I meant light for demons. Thanks. Is it worth taking metal against DE to kill the ring of hotek, or just take heavens and cast comet at the unit?
Don't use Fire against Elves! Lol. Use Heavens, DE and WE's use Fire, against HE's, I'd suggest Heaven's because the Uranon's thunderbolt banishes DP's, the Forked lightning added a few nice sparks, and the Comet can rip apart his artillary line.
Be very careful against demons. while light sure has an advantage against them, they have the great standard of sundering. that is a magic item that, without quoting too much out of the rules, will ruin a light magic users day...
