    I am going into my first big tourney in a few months and wrote up this list after getting trounced by my friends, whom, of course, play vampires and demons.

    Lord= OldBlood on Carnosaur
    BOR, Enchanted Shield, light armor

    Hero= Saurus Scar Vet
    Cold one, Light Armor, Sword Hornet, Shield, Curse Charm

    Hero= Saurus Scar Vet
    Cold One, BSB, Plaque Dominion, light armor, shield

    Hero= Skink Priest, Dispel x2,

    Core= 18x Saurus w/ spears, full command (Scar vet)

    Core= 18x Saurus w/ spears, full command (BSB)

    Core= 15x Saurus, Sword and Board, Champion

    Core= 15x Saurus, Sword and Board, Champion

    Core= 10x Skinks Skirmishers, Blowpipes

    Core= 14x Skinks Skirmishers, Blowpipes, (Priest)

    Special= 5x Chameleon Skinks

    Special= 5x Chameleon Skinks

    Special= 3x Terradon, Brave

    Special= 3x Terradon, Brave

    Total= 2250

    The scarvets on Cold Ones will keep from fear auto breaks, and the priest + dispel scrolls + Plaque should keep magic off long enough for my skinks to find spellcasters. I know about the horn of Kygor combo, and I think it is cheap and won't use it. This list should fend well against demons and vampires, as well as all the other normal powered armies I think.

    Feedback is appreciated, especially from those of you that have been in a few tourneys: Sart, look forward to hearing from you.

    Cheers

    To be totally honest I see this list as playing straight into the hands of an undead player. For them it is all about a war of attrition. Their blocks don't run, you have to beat them outright, therefore it is always highly advisable to take a strong flanking unit to cause serious damage and negate those rank bonuses that you know they will have. Yes the terradons can cope with this role, but they don't have the same "umphh" as CoR's or a stegadon.

    I highly advise taking an EOTG in place of those 2 15-man saurus units. Provides an added +1 level to your priest and a 2+CS, also BA is extra tough against undead and daemons which you will find tend to make frequent appearances as of late...

    Just my 2 cents....

    I have tried using an EotG many times against them, and they know it hurts, therefore they pick on it alot. It generally gets either zombie tar pitted, or rushed by a slayer vampire with high enough strength to break the armor save and assasinate the priest. The list I am up against generates 12 power dice per turn, so one more dispel dice is pretty much a shoulder shrug.

    How about some CoR's instead?

    12 power dice is nasty, ultimately you want to aim to take out those vampires so send your saurus characters vamp hunting...

    The problem with Vamp hunting is that he bunkers them, so if the saurus hero doesn't kill it first turn, he will auto break and die. Even if he is on a cold one, that is alot of combat res to overcome. Also, he would then be leaving the units to be broken by fear/outnumber.
