Oldblood -carnosaur -light armour -Enchanted Shield -Blade of Realities Skink Priest -EotG -lv 2 -Diadiem -Scroll Skink Chief -Ancient Steg -Warspear Scar-vet -BSB -Cold One -Burning Blade -Malming Shield 18 Saurus Warriors -spears, FC 16 Saurus Warriors -spears, FC 11/1 Skrox 10 skirmishers 10 skirmishers 10 skirmishers okay so i got about a major victory over this guy yesterday and now he wants a rematch but this time he tells me he's bringing 2 abominations. i know he loves his bell and furnace. so keeping this in mind, will this list take care of his abominations and bell and furnance? i know that the blade of realities will clearly take care of the bell and furnace because their leadership is 0. but when it comes to the abominations, i'm hoping to be able to charge it with both my carnosaur and Chief w/ warspear. hopefully it fails its leadership test with the blade. what do you guys think? i know he's not going to bring his warpfire thingy due to points so terradons are not neccessary here.
Sounds like you should blast him fairly well, the Carnosaur OB should be able to take down those contraptions that make his units unbreakable. The HPAs are insanely powerful, and even though they are Ld 8, I wouldn't risk your OB on them. Instead, you should soften them with blowpipes and then finish with a charge from one of your other characters. Just count yourself very, very, lucky that he does not have a doomwheel!
well he does have one but i don't believe he's bringing one due to knowing that he's basically using up all his points on the bell, furnance, and i know he really wants to bring 2 abominations. but you're telling me that the abomination doesn't have an armour save? he does have regen though right?
You will have to contend with regen, but the skinks should be able to put a couple wounds through. If you kill them with a flaming attack, they don't get to roll to come back alive. So I'd say kill them with the burning blade.
