The tournament has the following special rule: the total number of special and rare choices must be equal or below the number of core choices. I think Ive got an answer for most threats except for things like units of multiplewound models (trolls and stuff). I opt to keep these away from my blocks as long as possible. Ive got chameleons and heavens magic for warmachines. Bastiladon for regenerating units/monsters. Fliers for killing chaff/warmachines/small blocks. The oldblood and BSB go with the CoR obviously. Thoughts anyone?
in my opinion, i think that you can make the 2 squads of skink cohorts into skirmirshers as well, you just need to find where you can shave 40pts to accommodate the "upgrade". They can be very mobile chaff as well at the same time provide suppression fire to incoming opponents.
