Right got a friendly battle againts my brother and his skaven hordes. This is my army list for the upcoming battle and i was wondering peoples thought on it, cant really make any changes as i only have a stegadon and Tehenhauin that i have not included in this list. so here it is guys ... I think that list will perform very well against anything. To tailor for skaven though, consider dropping Unfathomable Presence and picking up Becalming. The Dreaded 13th Spell really sucks when a Skaven player gets it off. What lore on the Slann? I'd recommend Light or Shadow. Your Scar-Vet would be fine with a Halberd, but with his low initiative you will probably be striking last anyway. Just something to think about. I'd recommend Cube of Darkness on the Priest. That or make him Level 2. Put him in a unit of Skirmishers so he has a Look Out Sir roll and you will effectively have armor on him. Keep in mind that Skaven are kings of tarpits. Be sure to keep your fighting blocks close to each other so you don't get bogged down against a cheap but massive 100 point unit of Skaven Slaves. If your brother is running them in Horde formation, then you will have an easier time winning.
thats a good idea with the Slann, my priest already is a level 2 so thats ok. i mite put him in my unit of 12 skinks. i have been a victim of that stupid spell tht turns me into rats. so annoying. was thinking of using the lore of life which i usually use, always annoys him when he kills a load of my temple guard to try and get at my slann, then i just bring them back, and i do that spell that means i can use d6 aswell instead of d3 awesome. you know dwellers below, if i cast it on his unit of clann rats which has tetch craventail in it (who has 3 w i think) will he be slain automatticly if he fails strength test or just lose a wound.
