I am new to LM and really loved the idea of a saurus free list. My goal is to have at least a quasi competetive army. I am looking for some pointers on how to structure this. Which I am hoping all of you Scar Vets can help me. So that being said, let the creative juices flow...
If you play a lot of skaven, get Tenehuini for sure. He gives all your skinks hatred towards them... plus he's lore of beasts which would be awesome for an all skink list. Basically, you're going to want to use skrox as your big combat rez units. Put Tenehuini on an ancient steg, maybe get another priest. Then have two tricked out skink chiefs, maybe on terradons. Love terradons and salamanders. Make sure you have room for them. Chameleon skinks too. Basically you're going to want to stall the opponent as much as possible while you wear him down from afar, only charging in when you know you'll break him. It'll be hard, but do not underestimate the value of combat rez. Even the best troops will lose combats when they're hit on a couple different sides. All skink armies are pretty cool because they're cheap (points wise and money wise, 24 per box!) and they let you take all the really cool stuff in the army. (minus slanns, carnosaurs and saurus cav) However, it would probably be best for you to come up with a list and post it here. Until then, we can just list off things in the rule book for ya.
