so i was thinking about this list and i know the downfall is that its not that hard to beat but i thought i'd be a fun list consisting of over 82 skinks and 9 kroxigors.

    Priest
    Lv2, EotG, Diadiem, Scroll

    Priest
    Lv2, Scroll, Rod of Storm

    Priest
    Lv2, Scroll

    Chief
    Stegadon, Warspear

    11 Skink Skirmishers

    10 Skink Skirmishers

    10 Skink Skirmishers

    28/3 Skrox
    Full Command

    16/2 Skrox
    Full Command

    16/2 Skrox
    Full Command

    11/1 Skrox

    11/1 Skrox

i know the downside that this is mainly a T2 list plus a LD6 list but hey, can they really kill all those skinks?? but i do have 2 stegs to balance out the power, and my magic should help me out a little right?

would any of you ever try this list out?

I wouldn't, but just because I don't have the patience to place that many models...

That and the fact that I like to win :p

You need the drums. Those Skink units will be fleeing quickly when faced with anything other than a stiff breeze (maybe a bit of an exaggeration). Other than that the list looks good, though it lacks durability. This list has to be used carefully otherwise you will be outflanked and broken quickly.

instead of the warspear you could take the sacred helm for an incredible leadership 7.

    I agree with some of the above posts. I suggest the following;

    1) Put the Sacred Helm on the Chief for Ld 7.

    2) Put the Diadem and Cloak of Feathers on the Priest instead of the Rod - This way the Priest is quite surviable and you 'shouldn't' lose your extra DD.

    3) Move the scroll off of the Engine onto the foot Priest

    4) Place the Wardrums on your Engine Priest - To help with your rallying on Ld 8!

Hope some of those ideas may help, but I must admit I really like the list, hope it works out for you! :D

if i use the helm, wouldn't the chief be at LD 8 because i know he's already a base LD 7.
moving the scroll from the engine to foot does sound good and giving the priest the drums sound good, because if fleeing and i do have musicians makes skinks rally at LD7 plus the drums make it LD8 which is basically the same as a saurus.
but i know that this list would basically be better for an experienced lizardmen player rather than me. i've only gotten in about 9 games with them so i'm still rather new with them. i know that i would get massacred if i played this list but it just sounds like a good idea.

Something you also might want to look at is ranked skinks for redirecting. Just 10 of them, would allow you to get good charges easier with you skinks and kroxigor. Oh, and any big monsters that charge you, make sure you challenge so that you win combat.

At least it's a fun list.

    Then onto the list :p

Skrox units have Ld7 all the time, the kroxigor gives the skinks that much more courage to hold one :)

I'd be pretty scared of any war machines with this list...A cannon rips through kroxigors/stegadons in no time, leaving you with a lot of skinks!
In fact, anything that can take care of the kroxigors/stegadons (magic, shooting) will give you a very hard time.
Also, units with movement >6 are also your bane. Cavalry will rip Skrox apart if they charge.

You simply have to flee enemy charges. Rush with your skirmishers/small Skrox for his shooting/magic support. Then engage units without lots of attacks :p
And hope your skinks do well.
I'd love to see you take down a bloodthirster with a possible 726 javelin shots on that thing...could be fun :p
