I wanted to test out the effectiveness of Suarus. Let me know what you think. I feel the need to point out that your saurus list has more skinks in it that saurus I would be inclined to find a few extra points for a standard on those CoR's of yours, never hurts to have an extra +1 to CR, especially in the case of a 5 strong unit of cavalry that really shouldn't be in protracted combat. Enough magic though, should stand firm against your not-too-heavy magic users... Suppose all that is left is to say "May the dice gods be with you" -Eagle-
Perhaps the title is misleading, I was more referring to the fact that it's lead by suarus and not a slann. I actually dropped the the banner from the CoR because I was just giving up an extra 100pt's all the time. They are great for getting in the opponents face and counter charging stuff that suarus are fighting. Though I may drop them for a unit of Krox instead. As you say I should be able to withstand strong magic. I took this list to the colonial gt with a Scar-Vet instead of the second priest and the results were not kind. I wish the dispell spawn still existed because then I could drop both priests.
