This is going to be my first tourney, and as I don't have all of my models painted yet, I decided to go with something easier and a bit offbeat. General: Skink: EotG, +1 spell item, and a 15 pt magic item yet to be determined. Core: 79 skink scrimishers, likely in units of 15 Special: 8 Terradon riders 2 Stegadons Rare: 2 Anchient Stegadons The plan is to shoot the crap out of everything and stay out of CC, if one of the stegadons is charged, I'll try to counter charge with as many as I can. What I have: 96 skinks (half unpainted, working on these, 12 more being shipped), Slann, 23 TG, 2 terradons (14 being shipped), 2 krox, 30 saurus warriors, 12 chamelions (unpainted), 2 normal stegs (old metal), 3 plastic stegs (parts interchangable, can be anythig), 3 salamanders (3 more being shipped). Again, I don't expect to be winning every game, I just want a list that can inspire some fear and be a bit of fun to play with some challenge. Couple armies I know will show up Dwarf gunline with thunderers, something like 2 organ guns, 3 cannons, 2 grundge throwers, 3 bolt throwers. Plan, hopefully have first turn, bring skinks in fast to take our organ guns, then cannons, then everything else while my stegadons try to occupy the thunderers. Terradons drop rocks on thunderers on the way up. VC ghoul assault: something like 120 ghouls, no GG. Caster general. Plan, Focus fire the generals unit with everything I have and kill him without getting flanked. VC Balanced list with GG deathstar, 2+ to hit, str 6, regen. Plan, General should be in a skellie bunker in the back, take him out. Empire gunline w/ stank Plan, FF the bolt throwers on the stank, skinks go after gunline, get in CC with stegadons asap Skaven: 2 abombs, balanced list Plan, keep scrimishers away from the abombs, try to blast em with magic, and hope fate is kind to my dice. So any idea's for my army list or tactics I should try or just be fun to do?
