Hey, please bare with me, this is my first attempt at a fun army to use in a few games against a friends bretonnia army.
We have both been playing 40k and lotr for around 10 years, but this is our first attempt at fantasy, and this is my first 2400 point list, which we have been slowly building up to.
I'm also not great with names, so in places I may just say what the item does.
My list is based roughly around models I own and like, as well as having a focus on magic which I really enjoy.

    So here is my list.

    Lords
Slan, wondering delibwration, channelling staff, harmonic convergence, bsb, razor standard.

    Hero's
Scar vet, cold one, sheild, light armour, asf sword
Level 1 skink priest with cloak of feathers
Level 1 skink priest with dispel scroll

    Core
25 sarus with sheild and full command
25 sarus with spear and full command
10 skink skirmishers with javelin and sheild
10 skink skirmishers with javelin and sheild

    Special
    Bastildon
    20 temple guard full command
5 cold one knights with musician

    Rare
    Salamander
    Salamander

I make that 2400 on the dot, the idea is the scar vet and cold one cav can go trebuchet hunting, as well as the skink priest who can fly can throw magic missiles at any back field units.
I've included two separate salamanders for handling large units of men at arms at range, as well as a chance to cause a panic check.
I've gone all out on my temple guard unit, with their halbeards and the razor banner they will hopefully be able to deal with knights in combat.
Only having 3 bulky units is a little worrying as I'm expecting to see a character bus style unit of knights of the realm as well as a large unit of questing knights and a unit of errant Knight with strength 6 on the charge.
A popular but expensive combo my opponent tends to end up with a unit which gives no combat resolution for outnumbering, nothing for me having flanks, he has his bsb in there with a vow which gives an extra +1 to combat res.

So far our games have been pretty even, last game I used the book of ashur (?) so my slan had +5 to cast and dispel, however I've swapped that for the 3 channeling attempts on a 5+ to try an net some extra power dice for my slan and if any left for my Bastildon.

Any thoughts and feedback welcome, feel free to rip it apart if it's terrible!
