Seems like a reasonable start. there are just a few things i am partial about. Why the lore of life on the Slann when you have 2 big blocks of Sauri. seems like the lore of Light could give you much more in mobility and WS and I, but this is flavour i think. Most of the time the lore of life attribute and spells really buff our monsters, but since you dont have any i think that Light is better. Also, drop the ldoestone, if you need defensive items on your Slann all your TG must be dead, at which point you have probebly lost the game anyway. I take it he is the BSB and you simply forgot to put it down? Interesting OB build, you are not a fan of Dawnstones? 1+ reroll is still king in my oppinion, and i do not like the talisman, but its flavour again i think, especially in a non competetive list. The skink chief is very uncompetetive, what do you think you will do with him? He will get trampled by most other heroes and his save is to bad to fight against most blocks. Terradons are in my oppinion very one dimensional, warmachine hunters and nothing else. If i would change one thing, this would be it. For the rest, take HWS on Sauri, the parry is better then the few extra attacks you might get. Also drop the fireleech bolas, S4 shooting seems great, but your BS and the range is to low, and you want them in CC with warmachines anyway. Like the banner of swiftness on the TG, nice touch, have not thought about that.
Less drops, but now i feel every unit is seriously dangerous. I decided to keep the lone skink, changed his gear, he may not have a good save but will try hin as a warmachinehunter/anoying unit/flanker/chaff killer. Removed the terradons, added a scarvet on foot for the saurus block to make sure i will generate cr, they will be deployed 5 wide. Changed the gear on characters. Reduced the saurus Numbers and added a skirmishing unit. I know have: 1 awesome spellcaster 1 very dangerous and tough character 5 anoying units for redirecting, chaff hunting, warmachine hunting 3 dangerous blocks It feels sturdy and stabile and at the same time fast/ish and hardhitting. Sugestions? Seems pretty good. Any other choice you would make is one that can be debated, but this should serve you will in most non competetive games, and if the matchup is good you might be fine in tournaments if you play well. I would just rather have a charmed shield on solo characters, but maybe the meta i play in is just to cannon focussed. I would take a GW instead of the piranha blade, if you are going to kill multi wound models S7 tends to be great. Be sure to tell us how it all went, seems like a good list. Balanced LM all the way.
Thanks for all the help! Very helpful . If i remove the scarvet and oldblood, i can instead make a scarvet cowboy and add a ancient stegadon, and keeping the list as is otherwise. So easy enough to re write the list back and forth with models along this line. Will have to try that aswell. Thanks again
Dont get me wrong, your list should be fine. Only running a single monster is often bad against cannons, as they have one target that they can kill and get their points worth. It should be a fun thing to try, but i often like to think about LM to run a big cowboy block or 2 stegs.
