8th Ed. 2400 Tournament List - Criticism please

    I'm planning on going to a tournament here in a few months, and this is the first draft of the list that I plan on taking. Obviously I'll tweak the list to take into account how they do in practice games, but I'd also like to get an idea of what you all think of it. Right now, it's clocking in at a 13.8 Swedish comp.

    Lords:

    Slann Mage-Priest
    -BSB
    -Harmonic Convergence
    -Wandering Deliberations
    -Channeling Staff

    Heroes:

    Saurus Scar Veteran

    Hello,

    looks like a well rounded and quite solid list. Only thing I worry is if your temple guard is big enough. I would try to shuffle the unit sizes a bit and try to get the TG unit to atleast 23 models. 23 because it doesn't affect your comp score.
    Some points could be taken from the unstoppable stampede from the stegadon. I don't really see this as that good of an option since your main sources of damage will be from impact hits and stomps. The one extra attack on charge doesn't really do anything. If nothing else I would much rather see these points invested in some banner for slann of temple guard.

    The character section looks really solid and so does the core. Nice work. :)

    I also think its a pretty solid list, i ran something similar yesterday (though only 2000 pts) my concern is that you are fielding 3 small blocks from 20 to 25 saurus, would it not be better to just go for minimum core so drop one unit saurus and put additional into the other unit so you end (havent done the numbers) with one block of 30, which will give you plenty of pts fro chameleon skinks or a skink priest for dispell scroll or tooling up you slann with becalming or soul of stone (saved me twice yesterday) maybe even another steg??
