So a local tournament at the end of the month is going to have some unique rules.

    15% core
    Nagash rules (50% lord....)
MR can be used for all spells (dwellers, purple sun.....)
    2400 points

I know i will be facing at least 1 Nagash in this tourney so here is my list i planned

    Lord
    Slann
Book of Ashur, Obsidian Amulate, Standard of dicipline, WD, becalming Cogitation, Harmonic Convergence)

    Old Blood
(CO, GW, Stegadon Helm, Preservation, OTS)

    Heroes

    Scar- vet
    (CO, GW, Armor of Destiny)

    Skink Priest L1 (beast)
    (scroll)

    Core

    Skink Skirmishers X2 (J n S)
    skink Cohort
    (Musician, SB, Poisioned attacks)

    Special

    Terradon Riders (3)
    Chameleon Skinks (7)
    Chameleon skinks (7)
    Temple Guard (20)
    (RG, Musician, SB)
    Cold one riders (6)
(FC, with spears, and pack leader)

    Rare
    Salamander (2)
    each with extra snack

Going in blind i think this is a dynamic list that i should be able to to adjust once i learn who i am playing. It is wierd because or the small core requirment but that is not desided by me. Let me know any weaknesses you guys can see in the list or if i should be using a diffrent lore. I think the Slann with Ashur in 20 TG will be good, and some MR for them with miscasts. Hopefully there won't be too many miscasts though because of the WD Book of Ashur slann.

The harmonic convergence is kind of a waste of points since you are only getting dice on sixes usually you need the channeling staff to make it worth it. That combination is less than the cost of the book of ashur so it can really save a lot of points, but it's not a guarantee. The book essentially makes the slann a level 5, and the staff gives you statistically one extra dice per phase; you just need to decide which you think is better for you. I've run wandering deliberations with both combinations and had success, so either way can work for you. Best of luck.
