My local fantasy players have decided to do a fun little round robin tourney. I tend to be the runt of the group and want to surprise some of my friends. We use the 2012 ETC rules when making our lists. I should expect to see High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves...basically allot of elves. Slann (w/ Lore of Life, BSB, Focus of Mystery, Focused Rumination) Scar Vet(w/Amulet of Itzi, Dragon Helm, GW, Venom of Firefly Frog) Scar Vet(w/Burning Blade of Chotec, Charmed Shield, Dawnstone, Light Armour) 29x Saurus(w/Full Command) 29x Saurus(w/Full Command) 10x Skink Skirmishers 10x Skink Skirmishers 7x Chameleon Skinks 7x Chameleon Skinks 26x Temple Guard(w/Full Command) This comes out to around 2100pts and I am aiming for 2400pt. What should I add/move around in my list. I am thinking ether added a squad of 2 salamanders and a min squad of terradons, or a 20x skink squad with 2 krox. What do you think?
Salamanders and Terradons would be the best addition. I would look into getting something magical for the Revered Guardian in your TG unit, just in case. Possibly a magic banner for them also. The Sun Standard would be good with all the BS based shooting from elves.
put the scar veterans on cold ones they will be so powerfull i will not play a game without: 1 Saurus scar veteran Cold one LA Burning blade of chotec Dawnstone Charmes shield and like Qupakoco say, salamanders im not a big fan of terradons, but most people like them, so may add a few of those too
Works either way. In an infantry unit, he won't get a look out sir, but at least he'll get a meat shield to protect from shooting. On his own, with the re-rollable 1+, he can cause trouble for small units, but without something to make him stubborn, he'll struggle to hold his own against anything with more substance.
i feel u shoul dgo light with this list, caus ur saurus are a bit on the downside of ur tg now, life is single unit buffs, while light buffs your entire army on a fairly low ratio
