Hey guys. How are you all doing? I'm trying to make an all-comers list and would love to know if you guys could help me, please.

Looks very similar to what I usually run as an all comers list. Personally, I would drop a unit of Chameleons or Skirmishers, as well as both the Cold Ones and beef my two units of Saurus up to 25. But that is just personal preference. Chances of blowing the stupidity rolls are slim but with my luck I would need that one charge and blow it.

I think 8 chameleons is borderline too big, if you are going to run 2 I would do them 5 or 6, again personal opinion. It just gives them a smaller footprint when deploying scouts on a table edge.

    Thank you.

I dropped the Chameleon Skinks down to 6. I actually want to have 2 units of these guys. I love scouts, specially if they have poison.

I know what you're saying about stupidity, but then again, I've heard good comments about Scar-Vets on Cold Ones and would like to try them.

I bumped the Saurus blocks up to 24 each. I had 5 points left so I just bought and additional handler for the single Sally.

The list looks like this right now:

    SLANN MAGE-PRIEST
    General and Battle Standard Bearer
    Lore of Life
Disciplines: Focus of Mystery – Becalming Cogitation – Focused Rumination
Cupped Hands of the Old Ones
    Standard of Discipline

    SAURUS SCAR-VETERAN
    Cold One
    Light Armour
Burning Blade of Chotec – Charmed Shield – Dawnstone

    SAURUS SCAR-VETERAN
    Cold One
    Light Armor
Sword of Striking – Luckstone – Potion of Speed

    24 SAURUS WARRIORS
    Full Command

    24 SAURUS WARRIORS
    Full Command

    10 SKINK SKIRMISHERS

    10 SKINK SKIRMISHERS

    20 TEMPLE GUARD
    Full Command
    Banner of Eternal Flame

    6 CHAMELEON SKINKS

    6 CHAMELEON SKINKS

    2 SALAMANDERS

    1 SALAMANDER
    Extra Handler

    1 ANCIENT STEGADON

Cool, think you have a pretty solid list. Go have fun spreading the word of the Old Ones.

    Hello!

    "SAURUS SCAR-VETERAN
    Cold One
    Light Armor
Sword of Striking – Luckstone – Potion of Speed"
This guy Won't do any good. Try out a GW+AoD guy. Or if you are scred of etherel creatures and threfore need magical attacks: GW+AoF+Votff+Dragonbanegem.

    The rest is fine:)

By the way, do you guys think the Ancient Stegadon is really worth it? I love the model, but have never tried it, and it seems quite expensive. I guess it could be a good support for my combat blocks. What do you think?

    Thanks!

Pesonally I love the big guy, in games over 2000 points he is in my list 100% of the time, either as my other Rare (Salamander are my other 100%) or as mount for Chief with a War Spear.

As long as you are selective with what you send him against he will be doing good. Just keep him away from anything with S6+.

Thank you. I'll let you know my impressions on the Ancient Steg after my first game with him.

Yeah, Dark Elves are generally a terrible opponent for a Steg. Fighter Chars can block them forever or outright kill them, Executioners and Witches kill them without breaking into sweat, Cold One Knights are devastating if the get the charge, Black Guard isn't to pleasant either, Hydra will win over time and if they bring a Rep it's not too healthy either. And to top it all off the have Harpies which can redirect it all day long.
