    No we're talking! I like this list much better than your prewious one, and think it would fare pretty well. Maybe a bit too strong TG unit for my taste. I would definetly try to get an 15 man saurus block w/spears inside there somehow, but that just my own prefferences.

    Good list :)

    If you wanted to try and squeeze a unit of Saurus with spears in there (personally I would prefer than, but this isn't my list ;) ) I would propose the following:

    Drop the Chameleon Skills (120 points), 5 Temple Guard (80 points), Champion from the Saurus Cav (20 points) and replace them with 15 Saurus with Spears and Full Command (210 points). As for the last 10 points, buy a skink or something I suppose or play around with your item selection.

    The other suggestion might be to drop the Plaque of Protection for another Discipline of the Ancients ability or spend the points elsewhere in the army. Perhaps bulk up the above unit to 18 Saurus or juggle points for the full 20. Or add some members back into the temple guard. The reason I suggest it is the Slaan will be in the TG unit and won't be taking many ranged hits unless the TG units is reduced to shreds and you miss a 'Look Out Sir' roll (thinking of errant cannon balls here).

    I mainly use fighting armies, so i always get owned on magic armies, do you guys have an pointers i need to remember on playing this list?
