8th Ed. 2500 points competitive list

    Hey guys, I need some suggestions to help make a competitive list for the lizardmen. My army is currently sitting at 2471 points.

    Alright one of my main issues is with the Slaan and what unit to run him in. The temple guard are deffinately over priced and I have been hearing that they are a thing of the past and would be better off ran in a group of saurus or skinks. Looking for some ideas on this.

    Also are my Saurus blocks good?

    And are groups of 5 chameleon skinks good enough for war machine hunting?

    I like most of your choices on the units but I believe that your second Scar Vet is illegal. Looks like he has two pieces of magical armor and you can only have 1.

    On the Slann, I personally never run him but I believe that Temple Guard are still a very worthy option to field him in.

    Chameleon skinks can be amazing but I dont know if you will need two units of them. Maybe just one unit but you can buff it up to 7 models instead.

    The one thing that makes me want to suggest some major movement is the Stegadon. I just really dont like the Giant Bow, but making him a rare choice would make you change your salamanders around due to points costs. Never mind, you would still be just under 25% of rare choices :D You want your Stegadon charging but in the off chance you are charged, the blow pipes can make a stand and shoot reaction where the bow cannot.

    Not what my personal choice of a list would be but it should be pretty solid.
