Heroes Gor-Rok Core (936p) Saurus warriors x25 (318p) Spears, standard and musician Saurus warriors x49 (618p) Spears, standard and musician Special (739p) Temple Guard x44 (739p) F.C Rare (160p) Razordon hunting pack handlers x8 Razordons x2 total: 2500p on the dot I am going to put Gor-Rok into the horde unit for the stubborn ability. So any tips?
I know from what i've read than exp. Is the slann solo than? Guessing by ethreal. Generally people always say temple gaurd arent worth the extra pionts. Just run saurus unless you are trying to bunker the slann. Since he can only sit in row 2 of TG. And people almost always say salamanders are better than razordons. And salamanders are stample to the lizardmen. And i tend to agree. With exceptions of daemons and OK. Big debate about h/w shield vs spears. Kind of a toss up which is better. But the hand weps cost less. So i think you should try them in your small block. Parry saves save about the same amount of wounds as a 3d rank of attacks will cause. Imo if this is an all around army, add some skinks. One purple sun will end you. And skinks form 90% of lizardmen's utility. Becalming maybe. Also if it's all around i think you should try and fit in a dispell scroll. Also on a side note you are suppose to post exact pionts values.
I am planning to place the Slann in the temple guard as a bunker and I was split either to dump the BSB and go DS but in the end I should it would be more useful. So I am going to change the Razordons for salamanders, chuck my spears and grab a DS on my Slann.

I am planning to use life and, i am very paranoid about him getting killed. i might be tempted to go for magic res (3) instead in case he uses amber spear on me... what do you think?
Are you definitely playing some with lore of beasts? If not, then there are a lot more spells I would worry about than amber spear. If you know it is definitely beasts, I wouldn't worry too much, in order to kill you he needs 15 on the casting cost, you not to dispell, followed by killing the TG in front (easiest part), you failing your 4+ ward, followed by a 5 or 6 on the multiple wounds d6. I wouldn't worry too much, however if you really worry, obsidian lodestone is cheaper than Unfathomable presence with the same result. And if you only care about the slann and not the TG then obsidian amulet is even cheaper and gives the slann the same protection, although the TG now only have MR2 rather than MR3
