Hi, I've created a 2500 point army list - does anyone have any thoughts/suggestion? Thanks Slann - 2 disciplines (focused rumination, focus of mystery) cupped hands, BSB, obsidian lodestone - 440 Lore: Life Skink priest - engine of the gods, dawnstone, opal amulet - 395 Scar Veteran - biting blade, light armour, shield of the mirrored pool - 175 Skink Priest - dispel scroll, blood statuette of spite - 115 26 Temple Guard - FC, potion of strength - 471 29 Saurus Warriors - FC, spears - 378 25 Saurus - FC - 305 2 Salamander - extra Skink handlers - 160 9 Chameleon Skinks - Stalker - 114 Total = 2505
Shield of the mirrored pools isnt that great its only magic missles not bebuffs or that big initave check pit. also I presonaly would dorp the 2nd squad of sarus for Skrox 24 skinks with 3 krox (great flankers) I usally run 2 squards of 7 or 8 chamelon skinks, exspeicaly when you dont take skirmishers as a core choice, engine of the gods isnt bad, Ive only used it once and it got munched up. Your slann is very heavy pointswise I think all the items are great but I really dont think the 3 magic resist is essential. The list is ok although its low on skinks. Also spears arent 100% essentail although if your using life the + Toughness should make up for it, but its not a huge number of attacks you gain. Also I really feel for a 2.5k game you have very few units. Not a big deal but you have some really heavy costing units.
Just pointing out that you can only have 625 points worth of heroes in a 2,500 point list. Currently, you have more than that. You will have to go back and drop some points somewhere because you're over the 25% limit that is allowed. Also, I'd go for bigger units, 25 is too small, I'd suggest a horde unit of 40 or even 36 but 25 is too small in 8th edition. Just my 2 cents... Iggy
