Ok so getting back to the lizardmen after a long break

here is the idea of an all comers list (monster heavy for fun)

Lords: slann with channelling staff, harmonic convergance, becalming and focus mastery

Heroes: skink priest, dispel scroll (beasts)
scar veteran with cold one armour of destiny halberd and battle std
scar vet on carnosaur with dragon helm, shield, sword of striking and dawnstone

    Core: 15 skirmishers with blowpipes
    15 skirmishers with blowpipes
    15 skirmishers with blowpipes
    26 saurus with full command

    Special: 2 swarms
    bastiladon

    Rare: 2 ancient stegadons
    2 salamanders

what do you guys think? have a heap of other models so can easily change stuff around.

    Cheers for any feedback

Looks fine to me, the double stegadons might work out for you. Either take 2 or none in my opinion, you need that target saturation.

I think almost everyone is thinking that Javelin skinks are better than blowpipe skinks these days. 5+ save, 6+ parry, 12" shot with no penalties, can stand and shoot always.

The other thing is just there is no need whatsoever to take units of 15. Take 4 units of 10 instead of 3 units of 15. It's more drops, more targeting options and less to loose if you want to just throw them in as a redirector.

I would also split the salamanders into 2 1's for almost exactly the same reason as above.

cheers for the advice, had thought about javelins but the models i have are kitted out with blowpipes :( and was thinking to drop a salamander to give the stegs the upgrades and add some more handlers, good or bad idea? sallys dont seem nearly as good as previously. also thinking to drop the bastiladon and swarms for another steg (love them!!) not a hugely competitive list but thinking to try it out at the scottish open
