I think I've finally lost You should make one of the Scar vets BSB with skaven pelt - makes unit frenzied gives all those chars another A and immune to psy and reroll stupid and frenzy rolls . But you should have another rank . Also if you only put BSB in cav with 14 other reg riders they would still have 28 str 4 & 5 attacks. Which could free up Old blood for a carny to roll on side ( thats what I am gonna try anyway

Re: 2500 pt Saurus Cavalry A.K.A. I think I've finally lost Thanks for the suggestions so far the list has done all right but the lack of a second rank of coldones has definitely hurt at times. As for removing the Slann thats a big no. In my local area i run into purple sun a lot the level 4 slann provides my only hope of protection. So i'm dropping a steg and adding in more cold ones. As for the frenzy banner i dunno I tried it once with it and once without. Also dumb question does frenzy affect the mounts. I know how I want it to read but I need an objective opinion. I think I've finally lost beasts is not a great lore for slann. if you want wildform grab the all sig discipline or go loremaster of high and swap spells into it. beasts has a lot of dead spells, especially with slann. someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure slann can't transform. also your wasting some of your armor slots on the old blood. 4 plus save, 2 plus with the cold one, only need 1 other item (light armor) to drop to a 1+. the heavy armor is partially wasted. you could tighten up the old blood build, i dunno if i'd run an ogre blade on him either. you already have max save in close combat, so having the 1h weapon is irrelevant. throw a great weapon on him, drop the heavy armor and do something different with your magic armor.
Re: 2500 pt Saurus Cavalry A.K.A. I think I've finally lost He cannot, as he isn't a model on foot. On the OB, i get the HA, since the ward save is what you're there for. But i agree that you should go with a GW instead - initiative 3 is far too unimpressive to keep, or consider the following. Glittering scales, -1 to be hit and stil a 1+ rerollable is quite good against many low str attacks. i believe that will save enough pts. for fencers blades as well. Now you're looking at 6's needed from most core infantry to hit you, once they hit we're talking 6+ or 5+ to wound, and afterwards a 2+ save with reroll. 6 attacks hitting at 3+ with str 5 ain't shabby either, and i believe you end up saving a few pts in the end, 15 if i am correct! Ironcourse ingot (now we have a 6+ ward vs warmachines on your CoC unit), and another 10 pts for whatever. Consider trying it, i haven't tested it myself, but i think it's solid !

Armor of Fortune- I know i'm wasting a point of armor and it bugs me but i'm really taking it for the ward. 2. i'm aware of limitations of beasts as one cannot use kadon. but i'ma big fan of the rest of the lore especially curse and amber spear. 3. Ogre blade is in the list for one reason, I have really bad luck dealing with ethereals so having a way for my unit to cut through is a bonus. Although i just had a thought I can givve him a GW and Crown of command for only 1 pt more. Hmmm YES i will do it.
