    Total: 2497

    Lords: 621
    Slann
Focus of Mystery, Soul of Stone, BSB, Standard of Discipline (Could go with becalming instead of Soul of Stone)

    Saurus Scar-Veteran
Great Weapon, Cold One, LA, Dragon Helm, Talisman of Endurance, Potion of Foolhardiness

    Skink Priest
Heavens, Dispel Scroll, Ironcurse Icon (will clip onto temple guard or Saurus or sit in between them in a skink unit, depending on match up.

    Core: 670
    40 Saurus
Full CMD, Spears(Hand weapons if I plan on putting them in Horde frequently)

    4x10 Skink Cohorts
    Javelin/Shield (Not skirmish)

Alternatively could drop 2 salamanders, or a Salamander and some Temple guard/Saurus for a Bastiladon, 5 CoC, or another Scar Vet

I think your list suffers from a lack of hammers. I'd say drop the Jungle Swarms and single Salamander to get the Cold Ones, or a few Temple Guard to get an Ancient Stegadon with the Horns.

I like that you managed to work an Oldblood in, though!

It's basically the same list I have been playing with the old book; same OB kit, similar sized units, etc..
Temple guard function as a hammer unit to an extent, and the 2 characters are able to run out and kill units by themselves if necessary (Done it plenty of times with that OB). The main difference is the addition of jungle swarms to give poison in CC.
I just went 4/1 at Bayou with the list, using Lore of Beasts with 5 spells; slann took Rumination and becalming with Plaque of Tepok, and the +1 leadership banner, and the Scar vet was on Foot with burning blade.

I agree that dropping a sallie and the Swarms for 5 CoC wouldn't be a bad idea, though I dislike having a single steg in any list because of cannons, but I would do so if I knew what my opponent was running and knew I wasn't facing bolt throwers or cannons.

The temple guard can't take the obsidian trinket. The champ can only take magic weapons, not tallismans.

Aside from that, I like the list overall. I think it has the tools to deal with multiple threats.
