8th Ed. 2500pt All-Comers list

    Recently adopted my friends lizardmen army, bought a few models to broaden my choices (I still have A LOT to choose from) and I made this list.

    Slann (Lore unsure)
    BSB
    Seed of Rebirth
    Standard of Discipline
    Channeling Staff

    I haven't played a single game with lizardmen or 8th edition, this is my first list that I'm going to bring to my FLGS ideally tomorrow but maybe saturday. If there are any recommended changes I welcome them.

    I have a great knarloc which has been converted into a carnosaur, as well as cold one riders (riding knarlocs)
    My terradons have kroot hound heads and feathered wings so they could realistically be used as either of the flying choices justifiably. It's a shame I couldnt fit any of the models in, but there is always next time!

    Hi! Pretty solid list I think but some minor changes I would sugest:

    I would drop seed of rebirth, since you can't use both a ward save and a regen save there is really no point in having a 6+ regen on your Slann (if I haven't missed something). I would also drop Unfathomable presence and go for Obsidian amulet (magic res 2) instead - more stable resistance - but thats just me.

    I would go for lore of life, since you have a lot of big monsters the lore attribute will be really good. And the misscast protection is nice to have, specially since you don't have soul of stone.

    Personally I love a SV cowboy, and I would probobly find a way to fit one in the list, maybe by dropping the bastiladon :).


    4 skink skirmish and 2 cameleonskink regiments might be a bit to much, I would probobly skip one of the skink skirmish regements for something, maybe boost your slann with soul of stone and resorvoir of eldricht energy, and then still have points over for something else or get a second salamander. I always find one salamander to be one less then you need.

    If I take the Lore of Life would it be best to keep the Bastiladon in? Plus the +1 initiative seems to be worthwhile along with another bound spell in the army. I also made a mistake, there are 28 Temple Guard in the unit. I could remove one unit of skinks, but some of those points would have to go back into core. I could remove the Salamander and sink some of those points into the slaan.
