Lord: Krog-gar Core: Saurus x 41 & FC Skirmish x 12 (x 2 units) Heroes: Skink priest - level 2, cloak of feathers, channelling staff Skink priest - Dispel Scroll, Mask of EEE! Scar Vet - Cold one, Enchanted shield, piranha blade Rare: Ancient steg - Horns, EotG Troglodon - plus divining rod Special: Cham Skinks x 5 Cold One Cav x 10 & FC Skink priests are running beasts (hope to transform one of them!)
Reasonable list on the whole, but I wouldn't take a Troglodon in it. You have no Slann to cast spells through it and you only have two predatory fighter units.
This list is going up against dwarves next week!!! Loving this list..... Question : Do dwarves have/use magic?
No. They don't have spell casters. They do have a weird thing called the "Anvil of Doom" that allows them to cast weak magic missile like spells, but it's honestly not that big a threat to you. Dwarves also get bonus dispel dice.
The magic missile that Anvil casts is weak but the Anvil effect that gives them free moves/charges is very scary.
Dwarf player didn't show last week Playing this list against Dogs of War or Dark Elves this week. Any tips for Dogs of War?
It was dogs of war and he brought four cannons with him. He deployed them last which made it very difficult for placing my troops. Lost..... Against orks and gobs next!
4 Cannons is when the cheese gets to cheesy, i would have refused to play. to me it isn't worse than when my HE friend brought Teclis and death magic to a game against a Tomb kings army (7th edition teclis with Loremaster and dual anything super iF). If i would stop myself before fielding it, i won't play it ^^ Hope it was more fun than it sounds - my experience with cannons is limited, but the things i've seen them do is impression enough for me
