Hey Everyone, I have never played Swedish comp before and am going to be attending what I am told is a fairly friendly tourney. I am shooting for a relatively high comp score, however I can go as low as 12.5 comfortable, and even lower if I have a good reason. The rules are regular 8th addition (no ET), special characters are allowed. The team captain (I am on a team of 4) will negotiate with other team captains to make good pairings, so hopefully they don't pair me against a cannon line or mad magic user. The List: LORD: OB + AOD, Dawnstone, OTS, GW mounted on Carno Mount - BR and LS HERO: SV + Talisman of preservation, BSB mounted on Cold One Skink Cheif + Ironcurse Icon + spear mounted on Ancient Steg + sharp horns + EOTG (Is this even legal, or does it have to be a priest?) CORE: 15x Saurus + HW + music + banner 15x Saurus + HW + music + banner 23x Cohort + music + banner 10x skirmisher 10x skirmisher SPECIAL: Bastilladon+solarbeam 6x Chamelions 5x Cold ones + HW + Banner 3x Terradons RARE: Ancient Steg + sharp horns + blowpipes Salamander + xtra snack Comp score comes out at 18.4 My idea behind no casters is that you get a comp benefit to not having any casters, but with the bastilladon and EOTG bound spells I can still make use of big dice magic phases. The saurus units are lame, perhaps it would just be better for 1 unit of 30. BSB on the SV is probably a bad idea, and my cold one "bus" is pretty underwhelming as far as hero delivery goes. So what do you think, it is something of a soft list (by design), but is it lacking in such a way that I will just get abused even by other soft lists? On another note, I was thinking of trading the OB on Carno for Kroq-Gar, the comp is the same and the points actually come out fairly similar. It would also give me a 3rd (somewhat useless) bound spell.
