    Slann with 3 upgrades and Light
    BSB
    Standard of discipline
    Cupped hands

    2 Units of 30 FC saurus.
    2 ScarVets
    29 Templars
    Priest with Engine of God
    3 Salamanders divided into 2 groups

    Orks

    Hero/Lord on Dragon
    15 Pigs With General inside
    lvl 3 Shaman? Equppied with ,a mage lvl test or you become a pig, a one use item that failed.
    Lvl 1 shaman.
    30 normal fighters
    40 "horde"unit of some type of "normal" fighters.
    30 Unit of "normal" fighters with Battlestandrd bearer.
    20 Archers

    Lizard turn 1;
    Turn 1 that isnt very interesting. I move up my full movement.Fail to do any notable in magic.

    Ork Turn 1;
    Fail his animosity test with his boars and have to charge neareast unit, which is my salamanders who choose to flee.
    They then fail the charge and move up a inch or two. Which actually stops his all out charge, i believe.

    He then move up his Hero/Lord on the dragon to the right flank of the board and actually not facing the middle but my salamander and my board edge.
    The rest get in position.
    On the Left flank he positions one chariot.
    "We have played a couple of games before and usually he loses, and soon i regret telling him how important it is to have his chariot specially when having such chariaot heavy army to charge in the same time as one unit with ranks. "
    Im very exposed and cant do nothing about it.
    He kind of fail to do something interesting in both magic and shooting face. Both Slann and Engine of god counters it pretty well !

    Lizard turn 2;

    I dont charge due to the distances and the wraith of his chariots should i fail. I instead put myself in harms way, but more then the average dice roll away.
    I put myself his movement plus 9 with a saurus unit on the left side thinking he might fail and i can counter. Or that he enters and i counter with my Templars.
    Non of them works out.
    The last one due to the distance with the "wheel?" rule, it simply isnt room enough because of my other saurus unit to the immediate right of them.
    But that wont matter in this game.

    One thought here.
    I dont like standing around like this with my melee army. He have the GORK foot magic, catapult and a group of worthless archers.
    My choice of magic "Light" is very limited to offensive spells and i feel that he could play defensive aswell and out shoot me.

    My lonley salamander on the right side gets of a good shot and kills one rank of 7-8 in his Ork "normal" unit. All his unit are gonna pass their panic tests, which is normal, but kind of big deal vs ORks.

    I fail to do any real dmg in magic phase.

    Ork turn 2;

    He declare charge with 2 chariots and his big unit on the left side of the board. As i mentioned before, i put my group movement+9 inch away for him to
    maybe fail a charge. But we both measured and it was only 8. Sloppy by me ! This will likely crush the unit and a good chance to win the game with it.
    He makes all the charges and they do crush my poor saurus unit who needed snake eyes. Not even cold blodded and BSB can save them.
    So my other plan of counter charge wouldnt have worked out even if i could wheel them in. Big fail. At this stage the game looked like a LONG shot for me to win.
    Not only is my left side exposed to these three units but the right side is full of greenskins. Only thing that give me hope here is the stubbornes of my templars.

    As this wasent enough, he rolled 3 dices for the foot of Gork with his lvl 3 shaman, without any 6´s that would have been removed, and my lvl 4 slann fails to dispell that with 4 dices.
    12 saurus´es on my right flank is removed. *puking*

    I then called my templar unit ,the Deathstar, "which i saw here in the forums" as my last hope and he then called them freestar, referring to free points. Hes gonna swallow that!

    Lizard turn 3;

    Im desperate and tries to charge with my deathstar to his pig unit with the boss inside. Thinking that even if i fail, im only moving slightly less then marching.
    I just wanna get away from his unit on the left flank!. I fail my needed 11 :)
    Then i move up my stomped saurus unit blocking his flamed ork boys unit from double or triple charge my deathstar.
    I also backup with my engine of god next to his lord on dragon and using the offensive spell and soften him up a bit, waiting for a counter charge out of LOS of course.
    Finaly i roll something like 5 and 5 in magic! I put NET on his Ork unit facing my saurus aswell as -1 to hit the unit.
    Also put Always strike first, 1 more attack, double movment spell on templars.
    Aswell as Pass any ldrship tests on the saurus. Some minor missile too.
    One of the spells are with IR force and i cupped it to him ,making a wound to his lvl 3. "Aswell as removing a D6 worth of dices from his pool...I asked a GW person that told me that its correct, but the item does say
    powerdices and not dispell dices. Disagree?"

    The lonley salamander continues to breath death on the right side and on the left side the group of 2 salamanders have rallied and are firing on one of the chariot aswell as the group that crused my saurus unit.
    I wound them but they pass their Leadership 7 "out of range to boss" test !
    Damn...

    Ork turn 3;

    Dont remember but he dosent/cant charge with his boar boys into the deathstar so only 1 kamikaze chariot does it.
    His flamed unit dosent pass the NET for a charge.
    He positions his left flank against me and charges my 2 salamanders with his dragon.

    He fails to do anything in magic and shooting. Magic is kind of expected but his catapult fails every turn.
    Im not even gonna mention his stupid archers anymore.

    I crushed his chariot and he crushed my salamanders. Fair trade because it stops his lord for one more combat round.
    His stupid chairot have one more wound vs my not-so-much-...-yet-deathstar ,which stops me from charing his pig unit!

    Lizard turn 4;
    I charge my saurus and challenge his lvl 3 with my ScarVet with double weapons. I totaly forgott about a buff that he had here, making him do 3 more attacks and at 3 more in strenght or something crazy like that !

    I once again weaken his dragon with the presence of my engine of god waiting for a counter charge.
    And once more get of a good and very much needed magic phase that gives me INI 10, WS 10, Always strike first, 1 more attack to the deathstar.
    Also get -1 to his with the saurus unit "and pass all ldrship tests" aswell as NET his left flank ork group.

    He remove his chariot and i face his oncoming charges from the troops on the left side.

    His lvl 3 shaman have some type of strike first item and hes smiling when telling me about his buff. And im thinking S H I T.
    But as he have minus 1 to hit and facing ws 5, he only does 1 wound to my Vet and he counters and kills him. That also breaks their unbreakableness.
    He also loses vs my saurus and flees 3 inches *smile* back at ya!

    Ork turn 4;

    For some reason, if it was the whipe of the unit or some animosity or losing 25% to shooting, cant say, but his unit of pigs and general decided to flee the board.

    The net spell stops his other ork unit from charge so "only" his dragon and 2 chariots charge the deathstar. Might mention that all of them woulndt have fitted anyway.

    He does a few kills "facing WS 10, INI 10, +1 attack, first strike" vs my deathstar but also looses alot.
    We had to stop here because of the store closing down.
    But with his Dragon and mount only having 1-2 wounds each, no more impact hits and facing my stegadon charge "+magic" next turn he told me that it was a win for me.

    All i got to say is that Lore of light can turn any game around !
    And i finaly know how it feels to be a High Elf with re-roll misses and always strike first !
