    I am upping the points in my lizardmen army list, i have played a few games and my list has worked very well.

    Most of this list is pretty standard stuff, but I'm interested that you're running Chakax. He is obnoxiously expensive and costs at least 100pts more than his stats and abilities are worth IMHO, which is only compounded by the fact that you have to put him in a 400pt unit which also contains your 400+pt general/BSB.

    How have you found him?

    I can't help noticing that you've had to drastically skimp on support units (no chameleons or terradons) to accommodate chak, does he make up for that loss in your experience?

    Well based on my games so far skinks have never made up their points(1 squad came close 1 time), temple guard almost never even get hurt(when they have a 4+ regeneration save and toughness 8, and usually shield of vines), most people hesitate to throw their units that could fight them at them. So I think a model that makes them unbreakable is bad, and if he does get slain in a challenge, the Slann can always bring him back.

    I know today my opponent refused to send his tree men or tree men ancient anywhere near the temple guard because they would beat them and he knew it. So just by being near them the temple guard crippled his offensive abilities, that and awaken the woods is awesome when fighting wood elves.
