Hey Guys wanted to post my list here too, so i can easier read your recommendations
Slann (260)
General, Great Rememberer, Greenglade Flask (Ghyran)
Astrolith Bearer (160)
Wand of Restoration (Ghyran)
Skink Starpriest (80)
3x Engine of the Gods (660)
3x 10x Skinks with Boltspitters and Shield (180)
6x Ripperdactyl Riders (280)
2x Razordons (80)
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)
Balewind Vortex (40)
Chronomatic Cogs (60)
Total: 1980 points
101 Wounds
44 Models
8 Drops (or 9 if i play the Razordons as two seperate Units)
Already heard constructive feedback to Remove 1 Engine and max out one unit of Skinks, but thats not really in line with the idea of this list which is simple
Priest will try to Summon Cogs, Slann will activate them for 1 Extra Spell and Sits himself on the Vortex
Starting with 3 Engines, i will be able to summon a 4. in turn 3, i can generate enough CCP each turn for 1 Bastiladon each round starting at round 3
With 3 Engines at the beginning and another one (which will be able to do stuff at round 3) i should have a lot of Mortal Wounds and possible some more Units of Flyers or Skinks, the additional Bastiladons will work against most armies i guess (depending if i use Snakes or Lasers) also with that much of Summoning Points each turn (its 14-16 in Round one and 17-19 each Round afterwards, if nobody touches my endless spells) i am flexible enough to spam the field with more skinks, razors/sally, flyers or even an Carnosaur when i dont feel like a Bastiladon would be the perfect choice (and we all now the Bastiladon is almost everytime the perfect choice)
Heck i could even Summon a Dread at Round 3 if my oponnent wants to see a real big Dino
Already tested it at my local store with the following results:
8/9 drops seems okay with most opponents, not sure if it would be too much at a tournament
if everything wents like written before (so almost perfect case, i have the 4th engine up and summon a Basti in Round 3) at this point (round 3) my opponent is already struggling with the amount of either MW or the amount of new Units (Engines really need a points increase in the next GHB) only to glare me to death after i place a Bastiladon and tell him, that i will continue to do so till Round 5
possible Problems:
Skink and/or Slann fail to cast the Endless Spell, which will result in significant lower Summing Points (Still a 4th Engine in Round two but Bastiladon in Round 3 is not sure then)
Some Nasty Guy shows up, one shotting my Slann with MW in Round 1 or 2 (already seen that, not very nice)
Any thoughts? What more could cause troubles? Does this look like a nice tournament list to you guys?
Planning on taking it to the GT next year and need to finish a lot of painting (when i want to bring a truck of models for all those CCPs)
