Decided i'd play around with a solo slann list

    Slann mage Priest 460 pts
    Higher State of Conc
    Unfathomable
    BSB - War banner
    Divine Plaque
    Cupped hands

    Scar Vet 141 pts
    Great Weapon
    Armour of Destiny

    21 Saurus 249 pts
    HW + Shield
    Musician and Standard Bearer

    21 Saurus 249 pts
    HW + Shield
    Musician and Standard Bearer

    12 Skink Skirmishers 96 pts

    8 Chameleon Skinks 102 pts
    Stalker
    Javelin Shield

    6 CoC 265 pts
Music + Standard Bearer Huanchi's Blessed Totem

    Ancient Steg 275

2 Salamanders with extra bait 160 pts

    1997 PTS

The plan is to move forward with the slann with this build he as invicible as i can make him witha 2+ from magic and ranged weapons not a 4++ to any magic weapons that get into base to base by targeting a big monster or rank and file troopers, im hoping to win on combat res with a standard +3? (Standard bearer, BSB, Warbanner)
With the CoC flanking for cheeky supporting attack to finish off any stubborn units.
    What do you all think

This is slann build I really like, but have never run. I assume you'd still have to avoid characters, and units that have close combat magical attacks (eg. dryads), but otherwise, he's pretty boss.

I'm assuming the javelin shield combo is on the skirmishers, rather than the chameleons.

That's a cool list. Couple of tweaks though...

I'd run the sallies as 2 units of 1 and if you make one of the Saurus blocks 20, they are Watchtower-tastic! Other than that, looks good, and, more importantly, fun to use!
