This sounds almost like what I am trying to create with my army with a few exceptions. I think it looks really fun to play.
Downside I guess is that you don't have any magic except the beam and no magic protection. I would at least bring one priest for the scroll. Wyssans would be good in such a list too.
Its a fast army. Which is nice :) but the bastilidons are slow, right?
I very much like my COR. And I would swap the bastiladons for that I think. And somehow try to fix in 1-2 priests. They don't need to be expensive.

The arabyan carpet is really fun, Im using it right now in a game and it came as a shock when I told him my oldblood had the fly ability. :) Sadly tho he had taken the banner which makes all flyers (and their riders) to reroll their successful hits (by mistake, he thought first that riders was cavalry...).

But like I said, It sounds like a fun list and Im sure it can deliver on the board.

At 3000 points, all conventional army lists have a lvl4. I can't afford a lvl2 with scroll without removing something important from the list. Lvl1 doesn't cut it, they will just get nothing through. I don't have priests because I don't like the idea a 90 point dispel scroll. So I feel like just 4-6 dicing the engine, hoping for an irresistible(with no miscast!). +1 to dispel is also insignificant. The beams also pack quite the firepower. I can use my power dice to remove remains in play. And opponents tend to underestimate with no magic(well no wizards).  :walkingdead:

My magic protection comes in the form of flyers. The carpet can kill almost any wizard(except vampires and deamon princes). If he has backup, the rippers move in. If the wizard is alone(ex: ethereal slann, peg sorceress) the bastilodons open fire. Of course it can fail, but i find it more reliable than trying to out magic a magically advantaged opponent.

The fact that bastilodons are slow is part of the overall strategy. They protect my rear from fast cav which could try to surround/bottle neck me. My army is based on mobility, I need space to move. If they get to my rear, they can really f****-up the way my skinks and rare work. They are not good in combat, so them avoiding the hard part of his army and not jumping into the fray is a good thing.
Although I would love a unit of CoC, the bastilodons are just to precious to me :D

Do you think it would be a good idea to split the skrox unit in two? And I was also thinking bout replacing the chameleons with a skink chief chief on terradon/ripper.
