My Slann will be able to use 10 power dice a turn not including his free dice, so cupped hands might be an idea..
Hi Glorystorm, Well that is a fair amount of magic you're kicking out, with Kroak's ability to add to the common magic pool. if you're sure about taking him then have a blast, but he's a little too pricey IMO. Cupped Hands would seem a wise investment but with Soul of Stone may not be 100% needed, In terms of points I think your CoR have a high cost, perhaps you've added a banner? I'd reccomend it, in fact add the War Banner if you can
it is 5 with musician and standard to be fair its only got 13 power dice, and in 3000points armys could go way cheesier than that if they wanted to. three reasons for taking kroak a) just got the model yesterday so i sort of have to use him b) over two thirds of the players are using either undead or daemons (str 5) c) although its a 1500+ victory point unit, its also 1500 victory points which they arent getting. I like to think that way for expensive stuff. even if that unit subsequently kills 300points of stuff, its still made up its points simply by neglecting the enemy those victory points for my army
