This leaves me with 13 points for maybe a random extra Saurus Warrior. Old Blood goes in TG unit as buffed up body guard but this may be overkill (1+ re-rollable AS, 4+ WS).

Idea is 3 blocks with TG in middle, EOTG supporting blocks with sallies/skinks on flanks and chameleons for warmachine hunting. Do you think I need more chameleons?

I haven't got to many games under my belt so I'm counting on your wisdom.

It's a very defensive strategy. My 2500pt version is pretty much the same but with a scar vet and less sallies/TG.
