Had a meeting engagement rolled and it turned out to be a really fun game against High elves with the lizards coming out on top!
4 casters and only 2d6 dice is wrong! the ethereal slann is a waste of points because there is no power dice for him to use! a channeling skink is not worth it either fine if you wanna have a scroll caddy but i would say you should drop forbidden rod and then let him have the scroll otherwise youre pretty much paying 100 points for the forbidden rod because of youre need for additional arcane slots. never take a bound item when you have a slann as it does not get the +4 and never ever if you also have a skink priest and with 2 slanns 2 priests a bound item simply sucks out your points. 10 cold one cavalry +2 chars is pretty much wicked...... yeah i think its a waste of points. razordons are not worth it. why not just put the slann in skinks?
Just for the record, its not a list that is supposed to beat everything to the ground. Its a list for a good game of fun! I've never tried the lore of shadow at all, just mainly wanted to test it, but at 3500p its fine to run two slanns so i thought, why not? I took the extra priests and forbidden rod just to make sure i get some good dominant magic phases, against high elves with their anti magic stuff i felt that it was quite needed at these point levels. You do know what the bound item does right? The bound item was there to make sure if he brings Teclis. Teclis has a good chance of dying. With the strong magic phases i planned to have i thought i'd get dice over for it. The cavalry was mainly for funzies . Worked like a charm though, had a nice DP vs CoC skirmish on one flank with the CoC coming out on top! Razordons are the coolest models in the Lizardmen army and always has a spot in mine! (although they suck )
