8th Ed. 3500pt army for friendlies

    Hey all

    I have this army list, is there anything i should add? i feel i need more smaller units with pace to take out war machines and characters, the list below is everything i own for lizardmen, and i can only just stretch it to 3500pts. I dont normally use Abbreviations & Acronyms i will get use to them thou....

    Slann Mage-Priest
    4 Disciplines :Focused Rumination, Focus of Mystery, Higher state of Consciousness, Unfathomable Presence
    Magic Items: Cupped Hands o.t Old Ones, Divine Plaque o Protection


    Saurus Old Blood
    Weapons + amour:Light Amour, Shield, Piranha Blade, Bane Head, Talisman of Preservation


    Skink Chief
    Weapons + amour:Blowpipe, Light Amour, Shield, Sacred Stegadon Helm


    Skink Priest
    Engine of the Gods, Level 2 Wizard
    Weapons + amour:plaque of Tepok

    Dispel Scroll, Ruby Ring of Ruin, Level 2 Wizard

    its great that the army equals 3500 pts exactly......any feed back about what i can add to the army world be great thanks

    That is an awful small army for 3500 points. If you had more models, I would lose the skink chief and one or two priests. But since that is everything you own, you really cannot change the army much.

    Is that Oldblood worthwhile? If he gets a wound through, something is going to die, but at just strength 5, lots of characters will reliably bounce his attacks.

    There is no reason to have skink skirmishers above size 10. Use the excess models to make a third unit.

    I think Sword of Battle on the TG champion is strictly WORSE than his normal halberd.

    Drop at least one cavalry model and a skink character or two and use the removed cavalry models for mounted Saurus characters. Oldblood would be much better mounted, and adding a scar-vet or two would also be good.
