If you had 3750 points, what would you take? I'm looking at 2 slann, old blood, SV, some EotGs, sallies, skrox, little bit of everything. this is a big alliance battle this weekend and it is gonna be epic. wanna win epically!

I'd stick with one Slann and a Carnosaur. Never tried dual Slann because I always like one expensive guy. I'd skip Engines as well, since I like ancient steggies. A Carnosaur flanked by 3 or 4 steggies with a Life or Light Slang backing them up should be scary.

I would go with double slann, one light, one life and put them in a very big templeguard unit, and keep almost every other unit within range of the slann so you could buff the s**t out of your units offensive and defensive

The scenario is a team battle, and I have the Brettonians as an ally. Im in charge of magic. He has heavy cav and WM shooting, I have some air support and redirection duties. Life is a given, but was thinking shadow for second lore to debuff the enemy troops. ogres are present on the other side, and pit will ruin their day.

At 3750 you have 937.5 points of lords, which means you can get two tooled up slanns easily.

Go light/death or light/shadow to complement each lore i.e buffs and debuffs

Then take multiple tooled up scar vets for the hard fighting in the trenches, a couple of large blocks of troops and then lots of skirmishers and terradons and such if you say your Bret ally is bring Cavalary and war machines.

Stegs might be useful but Bret Cav does a similar job, and you will need some thing to break ranks/grind out units which both stegs and cav arent good at, I would say take a large saurus and large skrox block and use them to do the hard fighiting while brets do the hard hit into elite units, while skirmishers acts as pest/redirector/war machine hunters and the dual slann rules the magic phase

"one light, one life and put them in a very big templeguard unit" the wording here suggests both slann in the same unit of TG, if that is what is meant by this, you cant do that, only one slann per TG unit

It would be unorthodox but if you are in charge of all the magic, a Beast Slann may come in handy. Most Brettonian things are eligible for Wildhearts. You can Wyssans a unit of cavalry every round and buff the crap out of his fighty knights.

I am expecting ogres and WoC. I think shadow and life would be two solid lores. Wish skink priests could take light :-(. Heavens will have some solid representation though. yay comet!

old blood, 2 sv, a big brig of skrox and saurus. I currently dont have any TG and the slann are in with the saurus with the old blood, svs, and FC. so they can take the back rank 5 or 6 wide. skrox are there to guard the flank. dunno how it will all work though. I don't like TG bunker because thats points you hope never get into combat.
