ok gentlemen, the new LGS tournament is upon us, and by us i mean me . format has switched up a bit, we no longer know who (person and army) we will be playing before each match, just the point value and the time. should work more like your traditional tournaments (i.e. building a solid list to smash all faces with). I'll explain the choices at the bottom as usual Lords Slann (Light)* Power, Know, Cupped, Bane Slann (Life) Power, Becalming, BSB, Plaque Heroes Gor'Rok Skink Priest Lvl 1, Dispel Core 20 Skinks Skirmishers, Javelins 52 Saurus Command, Spears 20 Saurus Command Special 10 Chameleon 10 Chameleon Rare 2 x Salamander 2 x Extra Handler 2 x Salamander 2 x Extra Handler 2 x Salamander 2 x Extra Handler 2 x Salamander 2 x Extra Handler obviously the point of cupped hands and bane head is to turn that frown upside down, which could make for a nice game changer. 5 lore of life spells should be plenty for my bsb slann. if i happen to run up against an army without any large blocks of units i could potentially not take dwellers (blasphemy!!!! rabble rabble rabble) in order to pick up shield of thorns. priest is there as a scroll caddy and a long-shot comet. skirmishers are there to hide my general slann in and provide a little ranged support for the sallies. 3 sallie groups down a flank with slann in tow, 4th sallie group down the other flank to split the fire up some. chameleons do their warmachine thing. 52 saurus are there to never go away, 20 saurus are there as a flank deterant and to hold the watchtower should it come up my only question mark is gor'rok. hes there to keep the big block in the fight should they suffer some big losses and to accept any challenges tossed at my slann. do you think its worth picking up 2 scar vets instead to put in both saurus units? or 1 beefy scarvet and give a little more style to the priest?
